Adding a Twitter timeline to your WordPress website is very easy without the need for a plugin. Twitter provides a tool to generate the code at https://publish.twitter.com. Simply copy the generated code into the Text View of your WordPress edit window.
You can customize the look of the timeline using the parameters that are described at https://dev.twitter.com/web/embedded-timelines/parameters. The example below uses 2 addition parameters: data-width="300" and data-tweet-limit="1".
